We keep it minimal. Here is what we store in our database:

That's it. We do not build profiles on you. We do not store your work history, salary expectations, or detailed resume text in our database beyond what's embedded in your saved PDF files.

2. Temporary Data Processing

When you use our resume builder or cover letter tool, your inputs are held temporarily in your browser session to generate your document. This data is not written to our database. When you navigate away from the builder or cover letter pages, this temporary data is cleared automatically.

Only documents you explicitly save (by clicking "Download" or "Save") are stored.

3. AI Processing — Anthropic's Claude API

Important disclosure: When you use any AI-powered feature (resume analysis, content improvement, cover letter generation), your resume text and job descriptions are transmitted to Anthropic's servers for processing via their Claude API. This transmission is necessary for the AI features to work.

What this means for you:

We chose Anthropic's Claude because it is among the most capable and privacy-conscious AI systems available. However, you should be aware of this data flow before using our AI features.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: Resumebara does not sell your personal information to third parties and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes.

Our Service is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn we have collected data from a child under 16, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, for significant changes, by email notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
